As we move into the new decade, we’ve officially reached 50 pages and I couldn’t be happier. We’re just about wrapping up on the exposition of this thing (FINALLY!), and leaping headlong into deeper territory, where you might notice the tone of the comic start to shift in more ways than one. Things are going to start to get a bit more tense moving forward. Stakes will rise. The weird will get weirder. The time has come for me to show you what SlumberTown is all about!
2020 will be a good year for the comic. I’m super excited for the pages to come and I hope you are too! Thanks for reading, and take time to enjoy the holidays if you haven’t already. Took around 50 pages to plant most of my seeds, but now they’re planted… and it’s time for the harvest. :3

Congratulations on that 50-page milestone! I’m proud of you! That many pages is nothing to sneeze at, as bright as the sun is in this scene. Now I’m wondering why Romy thought to come here in the first place. I know she was looking for a fresh start, by why this town in particular? If nothing gets out there must be someone or something on the outside drawing people in. The mystery continues.

I’m glad you still have that question on your mind, because that question is still on Romy’s mind too! Someone or something on the outside, you say? That’s certainly a pretty solid theory, although I can neither confirm or deny it. 😛
So it’s something like a better-than-mediocre purgatory or a discount heaven?
And everyone has their own issues to work through..?
