Terms of Service:

I’m a SFW (safe for work) artist! I’m open to kinky stuff, depending on what it is. Just ask! (Some examples of kinks I’m okay with: transformation, macro/micro, cuddling/coiling, paws/maws/etc). I prefer to do kink-stuff that’s either cuddly/intimate or comedic in nature.

Nothing hateful/bigoted permitted! I can turn down a commission if it makes me uncomfortable for any reason. I don’t tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, etc.

Refunds can be given depending on how far along I am in the process. 90% refunds can be given for commissions that haven’t been started yet. 50% refunds can be given to commissions that have been partially completed (sketches/WIPs, etc). I unfortunately cannot refund commissions that have been fully completed, but I’m willing to make minor alterations to the completed piece. See below!

Requests for minor changes and adjustments in a piece are ENCOURAGED, especially earlier on in the process. I always share WIPs for bigger commissions so we can catch these things before I move past the sketching stage. You can, however, request alterations once the piece is completed. Minor changes or alterations (like markings, expression, adding/removing an accessory) I typically won’t charge for. The only time I’ll charge for alterations or changes is if the piece is already completed and a major change is requested (significant changes in pose/character/etc). This is mostly to protect myself from getting taken advantage of. For the most part, edits are something I don’t mind doing at all and you are encouraged to tell me about what changes you’d like.

Personal use of the art you’ve commissioned from me is permitted and encouraged! You are allowed to share it and post it to social media and galleries. All I ask is that you don’t claim the art as your own or profit off of it without my permission. Crediting me is highly appreciated, as it helps point more people to my work!

You absolutely cannot mint my art as an NFT. I do not accept payments in cryptocurrency. I’m not comfortable with my art being used in these spaces, and if you discover my art being used in these spaces, I encourage you to let me know!

The Commissioning Process:

Step 1: Fill out the form! Or message me through e-mail (machamrick11@gmail.com), Twitter (@macxidy) or Telegram (flopdog) to express interest!

Don’t worry if you aren’t completely sure about your commission yet. I won’t start your commission until I’ve established contact with you.

Step 2: Initial Communication

Once I’ve received your inquiry, I’ll contact you using your preferred contact method.

During our initial contact, we can discuss your idea(s) in greater depth and what you’ll expect to pay for it. Depending on the type of commission you want, communication from me may be brief or more lengthy. Doodle pages and comics, for instance, typically require a bit more back-and-forth for me to ensure nothing gets lost in translation. Simpler commissions and ideas will likely be much quicker and straightforward. I will communicate to you if there’s anything I feel I need clarification on.

You are ENCOURAGED to contact me at any time during the process if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas you’d like to add to your inquiry. I tend to check my socials at least once per work shift, which is usually Monday-Friday. Exceptions may occur if I’m going on a trip or out of town, but this is something I’ll typically communicate beforehand and on my public Trello.

Step 3: Invoicing

I don’t tend to send invoices until 1-2 days before I intend to start your commission. (If you would like to pay earlier, you can request an early invoice! Just keep in mind it won’t push you higher on my queue).

In our initial communication, I will let know how much you should expect to pay for your commission and make sure the price works for you. We can settle on a smaller commission to meet your financial needs if necessary. We can also make payment plans for larger commissions, as I’m not opposed to taking payments in smaller chunks. You can also put a commission on hold for financial reasons, and I will keep it “on hold” on my queue until you’re ready to proceed with another payment.

Right now, I primarily use PayPal Business for my invoices. If you would like to pay via Stripe, Venmo, etc., just let me know and we can arrange that.

Step 4: Sketches/WIPs/Progress Update

I will typically send a sketch WIP for most commissions (sometimes multiple WIPs, for larger commissions!). I will ask if there’s anything you’d like changed or altered in this stage. Because sketches and thumbnails are base ideas that are very easy to modify, I encourage you to ask for major changes in THIS stage if you can. If you want a different pose or big anatomical edits, for example, this is a good place to do that!

Be aware that things like certain details and markings may not be included in the sketch WIP. I tend to do most of my detail work in the ink/color phase, and the sketches are mostly shared to establish that things are going well on a foundational level.

Once the sketch/WIP is approved by you, I will move on to the inking/coloring/rendering stage!

Step 5: Finished Piece

You should at this point expect to get the finished piece (or more progress pieces leading up to it, if it’s a bigger commission like a full colored comic).

At the finished stage, I will once again ask for approval of the piece before archiving it and sending you the full res version. This is where you should let me know if there’s still edits or changes you’d like made, or if I’ve forgotten certain details or markings on your character.

Once the finished piece is approved, I will send you the full resolution file! If we’re communicating through Twitter, I may request your e-mail or Telegram so I can send it to you. You are free to refuse this information if you don’t care to receive the full res file, but you’ll most likely want to have it since it’s the best quality version of your commission I can provide!

That’s it!

If you have anything you’d like to communicate with me, feel free to do so.

Thank you so much for your interest!
