Page 1.77: Descent
Ariel, listen to me. The world up there? It’s a mess. Life under the sea is better than anything they’ve got up there…
Another double page update! I spoil you guys. As usual, make sure to check out page 76 too because it would be a gosh darn shame if you missed out on it.
Also: It would be downright disgraceful if I didn’t once again shout out my patrons: Roque Mapache, Vi, Sczaric and Buttercup! Double page updates means they get to be shouted out twice on the same week.
“What’s Patreon?” you ask, after reading Page 76 and somehow glazing over that glorious link. Well, I’ll tell you again. It’s this URL here!: https://www.patreon.com/slumbertown
Love you all, both patrons and non-patrons. If you read this comic, you’re awesome. If you’re a patron though, you’re doubly awesome. My love for you goes deeper than the sea. Yes, the same sea that is currently torturing Romy and Boone. That sea. My love for you is deep and treacherous and filled with the terror of the unknown.
At first the panels from the previous page made me think of bandages. Seaweeds definitely are less creepy than bandages, but I don’t think this is a good situation to be stuck in either way!
Haha, I kinda wondered how the panels on that last page would work in that sense. It is hard to tell! But I think maybe that’s why I really wanted to tack the next page on in a double update. Don’t want to keep people guessing. It’s DEFINITELY seaweed! And definitely not friendly seaweed.
Uh-oh. Not in a good place at the moment. Time to doggy-paddle for all your worth!
I think we’ve past the opportunity for doggy-paddling! She’s gotta start using her teeth to chew through that seaweed if she’s gonna make any headway!
