Page 1.86: A Grave Observation
Boone’s doing a terrific job of… NOT calling attention to himself, which is good, because it’s like the ghosts will never know he was there.
Fun fact about this page is that it’s probably the quickest I’ve ever created a page from thumbnail to completion. And it doesn’t… really show? But I thumbnailed it one morning and had finished it up by around 5pm the next day. I’m not sure what kind of art demon possessed me, but I’d really love it if they could possess me again. <3
You can possess my Patreon, and in the process… be in possession of the comic queue a month early. I have a few patrons who do that, and they are as follows: Roque Mapache, Vi, Sczaric, Buttercup and Joe Hamrick!
The Patreon, as usual, is here – and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon!: https://www.patreon.com/slumbertown
I love the panel 4-6 sequence/transition. It feels very animated and I can just almost hear Boone saying it in my head!
I’m actually really glad I could include that! I ended up having extra space on the page so I was able to draw out Boone’s dramatics. Originally it was all going to be one panel, but I agree, I like the animated pace here so much more.
