Is Piper supposed to be a squirrel?
He was one letter off!! I’ve had a couple tabby cats in my life, and I always joked that the little stripe pattern between their eyes is basically the “M emblem”. So many cats with striped fur have the forehead M. It’s a fun way to simplify the pattern.
Yep, Piper is based off a Eurasian red squirrel! A bit more pink than red, though.
